Ross is that comedian. We met over Zoom for a 1:1 coaching session. With patience, generosity and a commitment to the funny, Ross coached me through the revisions. It was the best hour of comedy writing I have experienced as a new comic. At the end of the session, I had a set of revised jokes that sounded like me and were much funnier. I left without feeling like I had compromised my "voice"…something I'm working on in my life…. thank you for respecting that in me and other comedians.“ Catherine Shea https://rossbennett.com/contact-ross daily 0.75 2021-02-17 https://rossbennett.com/comedian daily 0.75 2026-10-06 https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/600fc3b98afa7f5549ab68c0/11af220a-7273-429c-a60b-7485e5f0b25c/7A2A1E67-2378-41F2-B84E-0C8478D515B2.jpeg Comedian 2013 - Performed on THE LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/600fc3b98afa7f5549ab68c0/1612821302694-WO2ZFL9GW93OPKFCW5FB/IMG_0926.jpg Comedian 1979 - Moved to Los Angeles where he became a regular at THE IMPROV & THE COMEDY STORE https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/600fc3b98afa7f5549ab68c0/a675d29e-6049-4070-ba24-9d728451d7b2/9CECDFBB-B4E4-4C5D-8E89-ECE5F3F4B38B_1_201_a.jpeg Comedian 1980 - Part of the first wave of Comedy Club Headliners he performed or the next 15 years throughout the US during the “COMEDY BOOM.” https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/600fc3b98afa7f5549ab68c0/1612820307038-6GJES74LVOYOFHJI8ASA/IMG_0052.jpeg Comedian 1985 - Changed his name to Eddy Strange. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/600fc3b98afa7f5549ab68c0/1611773549472-N0IPS3PREZQJFJBHJN5M/CE28F667-B042-471F-B57B-2A105199AD70.jpeg Comedian https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/600fc3b98afa7f5549ab68c0/012bfdbe-ca46-4967-bf82-4e2183567490/7B9A07A1-D586-4DF0-9E68-4B0487FF861D.jpeg Comedian 1986 - Entered the SF Comedy Competition (as Eddy Strange) and finished 2nd, behind winner Jake Johannsen. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/600fc3b98afa7f5549ab68c0/02bf67c7-d30e-4f42-9955-dd18e95c9134/115106CB-B668-430E-ABA6-CB88EDD460F5_1_105_c.jpeg Comedian 1993-2000 - toured extensively throughout the UK & Ireland https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/600fc3b98afa7f5549ab68c0/cb5e0707-0eec-4e6e-bf62-72c25429f11f/15A7622C-8419-4810-8A5C-3E7A37C17A53.jpeg Comedian 2000 - changed his name back to Ross Bennett and moved to NYC where he became a fixture at THE COMIC STRIP, COMEDY CELLAR & THE FRIARS CLUB. https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/600fc3b98afa7f5549ab68c0/9c353457-e3b4-46c1-ab5a-d95d0848a205/A5801FCF-FB8F-42B1-89E0-396431B6BDC2.jpeg Comedian Currently - Ross continues to perform at Theaters, Corporate events, Cruise Ships & Private functions, as well as coaching Individual Comics Online. https://rossbennett.com/home daily 1.0 2026-10-06
